Tim Busse

Tim Busse was appointed to the Bloomington City Council in April of 2011 and has since been re-elected twice to serve four-year terms as a Council Member at Large. Tim is a vocal community leader experienced in stakeholder engagement, committed to equity and inclusion, and keen on leading through example and integrity. He currently serves on the Boards of the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce and the Bloomington Port Authority, on the Riverview Corridor Policy Advisory Committee, and as Chair of the National League of Cities University Communities Council. He also recently completed a term on the League of Minnesota Cities Board of Directors.

Professionally, Tim works in University Services at the University of Minnesota where his current role is to orchestrate all on-campus events and activities related to Super Bowl LII.
