Tiffany Chu is a designer, urban planner, and founder at Remix. She and her team work with 300+ cities around the world to help plan their transportation future.
Tiffany is passionate about building livable, equitable communities and creating impact through user-centered design. She has been named in Forbes’ 30 Under 30, LinkedIn’s Next Wave of Leaders Under 35 in Government, Curbed’s Young Guns, and has spoken at SXSW, Helsinki Design Week, the New York Times Cities for Tomorrow Conference, and her work was recently featured in the “By the People: Designing a Better America” exhibition at the National Smithsonian-Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum.
Previously, Tiffany was selected for a fellowship at Code for America, a nonprofit helping local governments with technology — and partnered with the City of Charlotte to launch their first open data initiative in 2014. Prior, Tiffany was the first user experience designer at Zipcar, was an innovation consultant at Continuum, and wrote for Dwell Magazine. Tiffany grew up in New Jersey, studied architecture and urban planning at MIT, has lived and worked in New York, Copenhagen, Taiwan, Paris, and California, and hopes to never own a car during her lifetime.
