Deputy City Manager
Tanya Ange serves as the deputy city manager for the City of Boulder. In her role, she manages the following areas: Communications, Community Vitality, Community Engagement, Equity, Finance, Human Resources, Innovation & Technology, and Library & Arts. Prior to her role in Boulder, Tanya served as the deputy city manager and chief of staff for the City of Mankato, MN, from 2009 to 2016 and assistant to the city manager from 2006 to 2009. Tanya is a Certified Senior Executive in State and Local Government through the Harvard Kennedy School and is an International City/County Manager’s Association (ICMA) Credentialed Manager (ICMA-CM). She currently serves on the Alliance for Innovation Board of Directors and is a past vice president of the International City Council Management Association. Tanya holds bachelor of science and master of arts degrees in urban studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
