Michael Moiseyev

Michael Moiseyev is a Senior Assistant Director at NYC OMB. He heads the Citywide Savings Unit, responsible for coordinating hundreds of cost reduction and revenue generating initiatives across all public services ($3.2 billion against NYC’s $85 billion budget in 2017-18, including over $400 million in efficiencies).

Mr. Moiseyev has been with NYC OMB since 2007. He was previously Assistant Director for Education, overseeing a $30 billion portfolio that included NYC Department of Education and CUNY. He holds a BS in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon and an MPA from Baruch College – CUNY.
