Biography
Kristin Taylor is a driven nonprofiteer motivated to leave the world a better place than she found it by applying her expertise to socially meaningful work. She has over a decade of experience helping organizations craft and share their most important stories and supporting individuals as they hone their skills as communicators. Currently, she leads communications for What Works Cities, a Bloomberg Philanthropies initiative helping local governments use data and facts to solve their most pressing challenges and improve residents’ lives. Her prior roles include serving as Program Officer of UNICEF USA’s Global Citizenship Fellowship, a program that prepares young professionals for effective leadership in public service, and as Features Writer at UNICEF, where she mobilized support for campaigns, fundraising efforts, and awareness-raising initiatives. Previously, she empowered university students to become more confident writers through her work as a master-level College Reading and Learning Association-certified writing tutor, and served as an editorial assistant for an academic journal.
