Project Manager for Housing, Health and Human Services
Kimberly Hendrickson is the Project Manager for Housing, Health and Human Services for the City of Poulsbo, Washington. She manages a program that partners behavioral health navigators with police throughout Kitsap County and was the project manager of a year-long pilot Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program. From 2016-2017 she worked with deputies in King County, Washington to implement a crisis response program called RADAR and helped create a police navigator program. She founded a nonprofit organization called Islanders for Collaborative Policing and has taught Political Science at George Washington University, Rhodes College, and Olympic College. She was awarded the Association of Washington Cities’ “Advocacy All Star” award, in 2018, for her work on police/mental health legislative issues and the Washington Coalition for Open Government’s Key Award, in 2012, for her work promoting accountability and transparency in local government.
