Walnut Creek, CA
Kevin Wilk was elected to the Walnut Creek, CA City Council in November 2016 and is serving his first term. Before his election, Wilk served for nearly 15 years on two city commissions – the Arts Commissionand the Transportation Commission. He was chair of the Transportation Commission three times. He also served on several city task forces.
Among his city duties, Wilk serves on both the Council’s Housing and Community Development and on the Public Education committees. On behalf of the city, he is a member of the Board of the Contra Costa County Transit Authority (County Connection) and he represented the city on the Board of Marin Clean Energy (MCE).
Wilk’s career as an internet marketing director for companies that include Microsoft and Yahoo, has instilled in him a passion for technology, innovation and sustainability, which he brings to Walnut Creek’s economic development and long-term growth discussions. He received a Bachelor Of Arts degree at UCLA while majoring in Political Science.
