Jake Spano

St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Jake Spano became St. Louis Park’s 44th Mayor in 2016. His day job is as Deputy Secretary of State for Minnesota and he’s worked for St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman & U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar. His current priorities are securing federal funding for the Southwest LRT project & advancing the city’s race equity work. In addition to volunteering in the community, he is chair of the Transit Subcommittee on the NLC Transportation Committee, serves on the Southwest LRT Corridor Management Committee, the Executive Committee of the Regional Council of Mayors, & is a member of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
