Biography

Cummings is a native of Atlanta and currently live in the City her family. She insists that her best skills have been gained through service and she CARES about building stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities using an equity lens. She is best described as a forward-thinker who is both strategic and intentional. Currently, she serves as the Interim Director for the Office of Housing and Community Development within the Department of City Planning. She leads a team that focuses on advancing affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization policy and economic development programs. Her educational background includes a Masters of Public Administration from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and a BA in Sociology from Georgia State University.
