Customer Analysis and Solutions, AVP, West Region
Carol Calvin is an Area Vice President for Customer Analysis and Solutions for UnitedHealthcare. She has been with UnitedHealthcare for twenty years in a variety of clinical and analytic leadership roles.
In her position, Calvin leads a team of health analytic and health strategy consultants focused on analyzing and interpreting customer utilization and healthcare data to identify potential areas for medical cost improvements via products, services and clinical programs. She also leads regional initiatives for strategic planning and delivery of health and productivity programs and solutions including onsite nurses, coordinators and health coaches. Calvin has been with UnitedHealthcare since 1998 and prior to her current role, served as a National Director in Clinical Operations.
Calvin is a board-certified registered nurse and cardiovascular clinical nurse specialist. She is a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) and earned a Bachelors degree from Texas Woman’s University and a Masters degree from the University of Oklahoma in nursing (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) where she was inducted to the honor society for nursing Sigma Theta Tau.
