From 7 years at City of Berkeley and 5 years at County of Marin with diverse geospatial work, Brian Quinn strives to bring a progressive perspective to enterprise geospatial work at San Francisco’s Department of Technology. A rock physicist by training, Brian’s journey from early machine vision work to urban 3D mapping by way of multi-user virtual environments and hazard loss estimation informs his support of geospatial workers throughout the City and County. Brian is passionate about helping geospatial activities in public agency practice add up to become steps toward a better future for all.
