Synopsis

Debt of all kinds negatively impacts families across the country and perpetuates the racial wealth divide. Join us for a discussion about how historical and current policies and practices have contributed to ongoing wealth inequities between white and communities of color in the U.S.  Jointly hosted by NLC’s Economic Opportunity and Financial Empowerment (EOFE) and Race and Equity Leadership (REAL) programs, this session includes a panel of experts, followed by a reception with small table discussions led by local and national experts.  Light appetizers and beverages will be served.
