Synopsis

Mayors and local officials work hard to build thriving cities: cities where people want to live, work, learn, play and pray; and cities where they want to and can raise their families and live a lifetime. In thriving cities, all generations—from the youngest child and their families to the older, life-experienced adult—feel supported. This world-café session will highlight the four key building blocks for a thriving community: commitment and public will; quality services that work; neighborhoods where people can thrive; and policies that support and are responsive. You will then have the opportunity to connect with experts and city leaders on each of the building blocks and the various life stages of community members.
