Tobin Hawkins

Association Relationship

Tobin Hawkins is the Regional Vice President of Association Relationships with over forty years of experience in strategy, design, administration, and communication of employee benefits.  She is responsible for enhancing brand awareness, business acquisition, growth and retention of Cigna’s portfolio via strategic relationships with public sector associations such as National Forum of Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), International City Managers Association (ICMA), and National League of Cities (NLC) to name a few.

During her 29 year career with Cigna, Tobin also served as Director of Administrative Services, Account Executive, and Vice President of National Accounts. Prior to joining Cigna she spent eleven years with Philadelphia Life Insurance Company.

Tobin is a ten year member of Cigna’s prestigious Gold Circle, a distinction for top sales and client management results.  Tobin has served three years as a Gold Circle Cabinet member collaborating with Cigna senior management on strategies specific to our customers. She works with community organizations that focus on changing corporate culture in Houston and working to get local employers more engaged in the health status of their employee population.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Tobin is married with three daughters and seven grandchildren. Tobin is a member of the National Professional Women’s Association, Top Ladies of Distinction, Sisters in the Spirit, and she serves as the Vice Chair of the National Corporate Council of National Forum of Public Administrators.  She serves as a Eucharistic Minister and works with the Marriage Ministry in her church.  She volunteers monthly with Dress for Success training young ladies on delivering elevator speeches.  When Tobin isn’t working, she enjoys reading, cooking healthier versions of family recipes, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
