Synopsis

Get ready for a tour of Metro Transit-Oriented Developments in two of Los Angeles’ most exciting, diverse and growing neighborhoods. The first stop will be Wilshire/Vermont Station, a mixed-use, mixed income retail, and housing development and its adjoining middle school all built atop a subway station in the dense and quickly growing Koreatown (K-town) community. The tour will then move on to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to visit the W Hotel and condos, the 1600 Vine apartments and even Trader Joe’s situated in the heart of Hollywood. Along the way, you will learn how Metro is pursuing transit-oriented communities throughout its system.
